Pushy, pushy, pushy!

This week’s initiative is to have some business cards made out like this…

…and hand them out on the train in the morning and maybe even stand on London Bridge for 10 minutes giving them out! Now that’s what I call ‘forward’.

For anyone who has read scenes one and two, the third and final scene of chapter one will be posted here this weekend.

  1. Good luck with that, but I expect you’ll be on the receiving end of a polite but forceful Cease and Desist letter from some large (global) organization who appear to claim that they own this year, as they paid for the IP.

    • I’m hoping that the lack of ‘2012’ in the artwork will save me! But you know that I laugh in the face of fear and tweak the nose of the Spindly Killerfish. 2012, 2012, 2012! Ha-ha! So there.

  2. Well that was interesting! I got a rebuke from the train guard for peddling my business cards and “annoying” the passengers. Still, I covered half the train before Lady Killjoy issued her ‘Cease and Desist’ order. So instead, I took up a position on London Bridge and handed out my cards to people of an inquisitive nature. The best thing about this though was that about 2 minuutes in, a work colleague, Mark Grant, pitched up and when he saw what I was up to, grabbbed a handful of cards and stood beside me helping to convince grumpy commuters to reach out for a small rectangle of cardboard.

Many thanks to you Mark! You’re a star. That was above and beyond the call of duty. :)
